We build fortified spaces for normal families – strong doors, hardened rooms, and smarter layouts that make it much harder for the wrong people to get to the people you care about.

Who We Are

ARX HomeGuard was born out of a simple reality: crime is getting bolder, faster, and more targeted – while most homes are still built to keep out wind and rain, not determined people.

We come from the world of hands-on trades and real-world risk, not just alarms and cameras. We’ve watched doors fold on the first kick, windows pop with almost no noise, and “secure” homes fail because nobody thought like an attacker when they were built.

Our work is to quietly turn ordinary houses into strongholds – not bunkers, not movie props – just intelligent, hardened homes where families can sleep without wondering how easy it would be for someone to get in.

What ARX Means

An “ARX” in Latin is a citadel, a fortress on high ground. For us, that’s the goal: give your home a defensive advantage – not by fear, but by design.

Why We Exist

Across the Lower Mainland, break-ins, targeted theft, and home invasions aren’t just news stories – they’re happening in regular streets, to regular families, who thought a camera and a deadbolt was “enough”. Most security conversations stop at tech: cameras, apps, alerts. Those help after something has started. ARX HomeGuard focuses on what happens in the critical 10–60 seconds where a person decides whether they can get in – and how far they can get if they do.

Fortify: We reinforce doors, frames, rooms, windows, and layouts with discreet, practical upgrades.

Where We Work

ARX HomeGuard is based in Langley and focuses on the Greater Vancouver Area & Lower Mainland so we can stay close enough to actually stand behind what we build.

We primarily work with single-family homes and townhomes, with select light-commercial projects where the same principles apply: control access, slow down threats, and give good people better options.

Typical Projects

Most of our work falls into a few buckets:

What We Won’t Do

We will not oversell tech you don’t need, pretend any system is “unbreakable”, or use fear tactics to push you into decisions. You’ll always get straight talk about what helps, what’s optional, and what’s a waste of money.
